The Weekly Anime & Manga Discussion Post For August 18th, 2019

The summer simulcast season is moving into its middle run and we’re definitely glad to get a little bit of a reprieve on the weekends from conventions. In fact, we’re taking a couple of days off to go to the beach for the first time this year right about now, so check our Instagram for some fun there. The August doldrums have definitely been in play with less news these days, owing to fewer productions in the works, and less that feels like it’s galvanizing us for some big shows to come. Everything is cyclical…

This month, we’re looking at expanding our offerings with our Patreon push as well as the latest GoFundMe as we lost our major advertiser and are figuring out how to stay in business.
