What I think was the best summer genre series of the year last year was Teen Wolf and it’s coming back for its second season on June 3rd with a two part episode, the second of which follows up on Monday night during its regular time slot. The show did very well last year for MTV with strong ratings and strong critical praise for what it did, especially as it progressed and didn’t play things safely. The show essentially shares the name of the movie from the 80’s and a few quirks but little beyond that as it plays it as a high school horror series .
MTV is also offering up a little treat by stating that if the trailer gets five million views, they’ll let loose with the first ten minutes of the first episode.
