Spring 2012 Anime Simulcast Series Ranking Roundup

To say we’re looking at an insane number of shows this season is an understatement. One of the things I wanted to do after the first two weeks or so is to take a look through the Google analytic stats to see just where things are landing. So what we’ve pulled together is a list by order of most viewed simulcast reviews of just new shows this season. It doesn’t measure into where they fit overall on the site as a whole for the month, but in comparison to each other. We’ve eliminated from the list the usual ongoing shows otherwise things like Naruto and Bleach would rank higher than most due to their popularity, but we did include Fate/Zero as it’s been off the air for a season and it’s curious to see where it fits into the mix.

We also did cut things off after a bit since some of the newer reviews showed up near the bottom, but it’s hard to rank a review that just went live yesterday against what went on at the beginning of the month. But you can see through looking at the first episode and second episodes how things are shifting around a bit and what’s drawing attention. It’ll be curious to see where the month stands as a whole, though we suspect that Rock Lee & His Ninja Pals may continue to frustrate a certain segment of fandom.
