The Fate Project property has had some interesting new stuff over the last few years, which included the December 31st, 2022 debut of the Fate/strange Fake -Whispers of Dawn- TV special. With a TV project being spun out from that, we learned last year that it was confirmed that Crunchyroll will be streaming it in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS.

The first episode made its debut on December 31st, 2024, as part of the New Year’s special for the larger franchise. With the show getting its proper debut on January 3rd, 2026, the series will run for thirteen episodes, which does not include the Whispers of Dawn episode from the previous new year streaming.

Aniplex Japan has now set the home video release plans for the season with a limited edition Blu-ray box set. It’s scheduled to arrive on May 27th, 2026, and will include the thirteen-episode run plus the Whisper of Dawn special. It’ll be priced at 38,000 yen. Plot Concept: In a Holy Grail War, Mages (Masters) and their Heroic Spirits (Servants) fight for the control of the Holy Grail—an omnipotent wish-granting device said to fulfill any desire. Years have passed since the end of the Fifth Holy Grail War in Japan. Now, signs portend the emergence of a new Holy Grail in the western American city of Snowfield. Sure enough, Masters and Servants begin to gather… A missing Servant class… Impossible Servant summonings… A nation shrouded in secrecy… And a city created as a battleground. In the face of such irregularities, the Holy Grail War is twisted and driven into the depth of madness. Let the curtain rise on a masquerade of humans and heroes, made to dance upon the stage of a false Holy Grail.
