Google throws down the details for Stadia users.

There’s been a lot of Google Stadia news coming out this week.  Some involve where you play, while others involve how you play.  Let’s run through the information below.

Google detailed what happened when your Stadia Pro subscription expires and you choose not to renew.  In short, your resolution knocks down to 1080p with no 5.1 surround sound.  In addition, you cannot access your pro subscription games that you got for free.  The game data that’s saved on Stadia will still be there, but you won’t have access unless you buy the game, or resubscribe.  Everything else, the games you paid for, and the rest of the Stadia experience.

For those that keep on subscribing, and even for those who don’t, Stadia has new platforms to play on.  These platforms are on your phone, and include a set of Google Android OS phones.

The following phones will be able to play games on Stadia:

Samsung Galaxy S8
Samsung Galaxy S8+
Samsung Galaxy S8 Active
Samsung Galaxy Note8
