1 min read
A new medical drama is winging its way toward you!

There are a lot of manga that make an easy transition to the live-action realm and one coming up this spring is the In Hand adaptation. Based on the manga by Ao Akato, the series is set for an April premiere on TBS on Fridays where it’ll star Tomohisa Yamashita s Dr. Himokura. Shunichi Hirano is set to direct some of it with Yasuhiro Yoshida working on the scripts.

The manga began in Afternoon magazine back in 2016 and has one compiled volume out so far.

Check out the official site and Twitter.

Plot Concept: The series focuses on Dr. Himokura, a genius doctor who specializes in parasitic infections. While rich and prideful, he is also well-versed in a wide variety of fields, and readily tackles the medical mysteries he encounters every day.
