While a lot of the big name manga creators tend to have one really well known project and maybe a few smaller works that get less attention, most creators run several different series over their careers, sometimes at the same time. Ayumi Komura’s most well known work in North America is that of Mixed Vegetables, which ended quite a few years ago. Now she’s getting her latest series up ready to launch with the upcoming Takuma of the Forest. It’s set to debut with the 22nd installment of Margaret magazine this year. Komura has finished off a few series recently that she’s worked on with Full Dozer and last year’s Urotsuki Lily.
Komura’s Mixed Vegetables series ran for eight volumes between 2005 and 2007. It was released in North America by Viz Media, completing in 2010.
