‘The Empire of Corpses’ Anime Feature Reveals Final Web Trailer

The Empire of Corpses VisualWith the shift in release dates for the other Project Itoh films coming up, a new and adjusted final web trailer has arrived for the feature anime film The Empire of Corpses. The previous ones that reflected the release dates of the previous films have been removed, so this is the main trailer available for it now. This new trailer released for the film that clocks in at just under two minutes and really showcases the quality of the animation in a great way that makes us even more interested in the film. Especially since part of the end of the song feels like James Bond opening song. The work is based on the story by Project Itoh and it, along with the other two films being produced, have been licensed for theatrical and home video release by FUNimation in North America.

The film is set to premiere on October 2nd, 2015 and will be directed by Ryoutarou Makihara based on the character designs by redjuice with animation done by WIT STUDIO. EGOIST will be performing the theme song for this feature film, which you can hear in the promo below.

The cast includes Yoshimasa Hosoya as John H. Watson, Ayumu Murase as Friday, Taiten Kusunoki as Frederick Barnaby,Daiki Yamashita as Nikolai Krasotkin, Shinichiro Miki as Alexei Karamazov, Kana Hanazawa as Hadary Lilith, and Akio Ohtsuka as M.

Plot concept: Taking place in 19th century Europe, and revolves around John Watson. He is scouted by the government to become a secret agent- However, Watson lives in a world where “Frankensteins”- human corpses that are re-purpos
