The second season for Miss Monochrome recently got its premiere date set for the summer and now King Records is doing its next round of promotion for it with a pair of short TV spots.  The anime series is set to debut on July 3rd, 2015 as part of the Ultra Super Anime Time block that runs for thirty minutes and has a lot of short form shows appearing in it. The original episodes were definitely short, but we’ve heard that this block will feature three shows at ten minutes each, so it could be getting quite the boost.

The series is directed by Yoshiaki Iwasaki based on scripts by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu and character designs by Yuki Morimoto at LIDEN Films and SANZIGEN Animation. It stars Yuri Horie as Miss Monochrome, Keiji Fujiwara as Maneo, Kikuko Inoue as KIKUKO and Akemi Kanda as Mana.

Crunchyroll streamed the first season back in 2013, but it has not been picked up for further license by anyone.

Plot concept: Voice acting veteran Yui Horie (AKB0048, Fairy Tail) originally created the titular character of Miss Monochrome and provides her voice in this new short animated series about an android who decides to try and become a top idol singer. Direction is by Yoshiaki Iwasaki (Sky Girls, Love Hina).
