Anime Snapshots Roundup For Week Of March 6th, 2015

2 min read

This week, I have mostly been creating new headcanon. But we’ll get to that in a moment. For now, it’s nice to know that Assassination Classroom cares about what I think of the show:

I mean, I got an on-screen callout right there! It’s my claim to fame!

I also can’t argue with that assessment. Some things are best not peeped on. See also: Jojo’s Egypt Arc.

Yeeaaah. This is the point where I wrote off the episode and decided to just skip along to the next one. Some plotlines are just not worth going there for. Kantai Collection kind-highlights a worrying trend:

Is it just me, or it Shimakaze’s skirt getting smaller / lower every week? By the end of the season it’s not going to be there at all. Or perhaps that’s what her remodel / upgrade will be… Next, Maria the Virgin Witch:

I don’t like where this is heading. Also, Brother Bernard confirmed as utter bastard. Anyway, I was talking earlier about new headcanon. Courtesy of Go! Princess Precure, I bring you…

Hey, guys – Cure Twinkle’s mom is Cure Peace. Or if not, the likeness is remarkable. All I need for confirmation is for Twinkle to give me a “Pika, pika, pikarin! Jan-ken-pon!!”. Please make it so. As if Cure Twinkle isn’t adorable enough already.

Kirara kira! Be still, my fanboy heart. Over in The Rolling Girls, we get a visual lesson of what happens when another fan criticises your favourite anime:

Next up, Saekano, and I’ll forever maintain that Kato’s not going to be as boring as the English title of the show would have you believe.

Although that’s not necessarily a good thing. As for the girlfriend thing…

The prosecution rests. Moving onwards to Shirobako:

IMPOSSIBURU!

Y’know, while in some ways Erika ticks so many buttons with me it’s just not funny, that one look may be the scariest in anime, taken in context. Ph34r the cute ones, as a webcomic once said. Finally, Yatterman Night:

Nessie likes what he sees? That’s it for this week, see you next…
