Wake Up Girls Zoo Episode 7
This group should not be coming up with ideas anymore.

What They Say:
If the zoo is short on funds, why don’t we bring in guests with a single grand attraction?” At Nanami’s suggestion, the animals work to create a single grand attraction, but perhaps they should have gone for a swimsuit episode instead. What does the future have in store for the Wake Up, Girls ZOO?

Coming up with reasons to get people to come to the zoo is always a good part of the brainstorming aspect of things and a zoo does have some challenges in that regard. While the animals are the attraction, sometimes you need something else to draw in people that might not think of it otherwise. So the idea forms around coming up with a grand attraction – instead of a swimsuit episode thankfully. Nanami’s way of doing things is comical as she even comes up with a CG version of herself to act as an attraction, since her main idea of just standing there isn’t enough. When we essentially get a furry version of her though, all bets are off – though others think that a second season of the series is guaranteed with these (creepy) visuals.

In Summary:
While I had hoped for something a bit better for the actual grand attraction, I ended up getting what I figured we would in the girls coming up with something largely nonsensical. And amusing, as well as a bit creepy as we get Nanami in both a 3DCG form and in a more traditional illustration style that does not look appealing at all. The idea of a grand attraction is a good one, but like most things these girls come up with, the flaw is all in the execution.
