Madman Entertainment has capped off their Twelve Days of announcements promotion with the reveal of five new winter 2015 anime simulcast pickups – and confirming eventual home video rights as well. There’s a good array of titles that have been picked up, which you can see below along with some of their promotional videos. With Madman having a close relationship with FUNimation, it’s also easy to view that there are going to be a lot of similarities in announcements on that front. These series will debut on the AnimeLab service in Australia and New Zealand with final dates and times being nailed down in the near future for audiences there.
The Testament of Sister New Devil: The revolves around Basara Tojo, a first-year high school student who is flustered by a sudden question by his eccentric father, “Hey, didn’t you used to say you wanted a little sister?” Plus, his father announces that he is getting remarried. His father brings over two beautiful step-sisters, but then embarks on an overseas trip. However, the two sisters Mio and Maria Naruse are actually a novice devil and succubus.
Samurai Warriors: The age is the Warring States period, when many officers hold the dream of uniting the country. Toyotomi Hideyoshi, a man who has that goal right in front of his eyes, brings his protege and supreme commander Ishida Mitsunari along with a large army to surround Odawara Castle, which protects Ujiyasu Hōjō. However, the castle does not fall so easily, and nearly three months pass. Even many of the generals that gather at Mitsunari’s side suggest breaking the stale-mate. Within the arguments of the generals, the single general who rushes to the scene to penetrate an opening in the castle is Sanada Yukimura. His elder brother, Sanada Nobuyuki, chases after him. Betting on Hideyoshi’s conquest, the Sanada brothers clash with Hōjō!

Aria of Curse for a Holy Swordsman – Seiken Tsukai no World Break: The “campus sword & sorcery” story is set in a private high school that brings together “saviors,” youths with awakened memories from past lives. Some of them are Shirogane who fight enemies with weapons and techniques gleaned from the Puraana powers from their own bodies. Others are Kuroma who wipe out enemies, with magic to manipulate the Maana powers that surpass physics. A boy named Moroha Haimura enrolls in this school. He is the first person in history with past lives of both Shirogane and Kuroma.
