Avex Highlights Fifth ‘Noragami’ Japanese DVD/BD Anime Release

Though the season ended in Japan a few months ago, the home video releases roll on for Noragami. With those releases on DVd and Blu-ray, the latest volume has come out and Avex has put together two promotional spots for it as it contains a new character song CD and music is what Avex is all about. The series is getting the standard six volume release where there’ll be two episodes per volume. The Blu-ray releases are priced at 7,140 yen each while the DVD releases are priced at 6,090 yen each. The series is set to begin its home video run on March 26th, 2014 and this fifth installment landed on July 9th, 2014.

This release brings out episodes two more episodes on disc and also includes a new Character Song CD as part of its limited edition approach, which contains five tracks with a couple of instrumentals across it.

Plot concept: Yato may just be a minor god now, but he’s determined to make it big and he’s got a plan. Unfortunately, things just don’t seem to be going his way. He doesn’t have a single shrine dedicated to him, his partner has just quit, and now he’s got to find a new divine weapon. Just when things look bleak, he meets a girl named Hiyori and changes her life forever.
