D23 is definitely beefing up its Marvel Studios representation as we saw this weekend but it’s also not overwhelming things which is nice. One of the fun segments of it involved Kevin Feige coming out to talk about Thor: The Dark World and Captain America: The Winter Soldier. The latest piece to be released for it involves Feige bringing out, through Tom Hiddleston, some of the topliners for the two films and it’s interesting to see since you often don’t get Anthony Hopkins doing this kind of material, especially since he’d semi-retired at one point and was kind of done with Hollywood. Bringing him back to such a spectacle like this is definitely interesting and fun to watch as they bring out the name actors such as Natalie Portman from Thor: The Dark World, as well as Chris Evans, Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie from Captain America: The Winter Solder.
