The 2013-2014 season for The CW is one that is definitely set to be a bit more genre heavy overall, which isn’t a surprise with the success they’ve had with Arrow, Supernatural and The Vampire Diaries. While they’re keeping some more straightforward non-genre dramas on there, they’re loading up throughout the upcoming season but also trying some shorter run mid-season shows to see if they can gain any traction. One of those midseason shows, set for early 2014 release, is Star-Crossed, a science fiction teen romance series created by Meredith Averill. The series is being produced by CBS Television Studios for The CW and stars as its leads Aimee Teegarden and Matt Lanter.
Plot Concept: Star-Crossed chronicles the epic romance between a human girl and an alien boy when he and eight others of his kind are integrated into a suburban high school.
