While we’ve had Golden Week last week, we also get something else that happens often in cleaning that goes on throughout the year. With a lot of time designated for purging and cleaning, it’s something that I always like seeing since it can go in so many different ways. With the lists that get handed down to the residents, it’s al about outside cleaning. And everyone has a real crafty way of dealing with it by putting Matsukichi’s name down for everything and even adding additional chores. That leads to a little bit of war on everyone’s part since he does fight back, which is comical since you have some of them just curled up in their cave of boxes in their rooms.
In Summary:
Yurumates doesn’t hit high hilarity here by any means, but I do enjoy the way they push and tweak each other into doing things. Especially since some take the list more seriously than others. But as everyone starts adding to it, adjusting it and turning it from a simple single page to an entire series of volumes, it just goes silly but simple and leaves you smiling. You have to feel the worst for Matsukichi though as his being the only guy just has him getting piled on more and more.
