Poyo’s arrival in the neighborhood was quite awhile ago and what we learn here is that he’s definitely become a prominent figure in it. So much so that he’s essentially the boss now and you can see some of the resemblance to Papa Sato in it. Hide even gets to see how Poyo walks the neighborhood and takes care of things in magistrate form with a kind of cool toughness to him that’s pretty appealing. Poyo even takes care of what should be his natural prey as Hide brings home a wounded bird that needs some care for a few weeks. Hide’s nature is pretty cute to watch here but it’s something that in the end bites him in the rear. As is expected. The best is the way the bird starts to take on some of Poyo’s attributes, which you know is not going to work out well for Hide.

In Summary:
Poyopoyo has some good fun here though I had hoped he would be in the episode more. The first half is really cute as we see how he handles running the neighborhood and that hits a lot of good marks. Shifting to Hide isn’t bad as I do like where the story goes, but I just wanted more of tough guy Poyo roaming his beat and taking care of business. The series continues to find a lot of laughs and doles them out in quick hit fashion that’s very appealing. This one does a lot of things right once again and makes you fall for the fat cat all the more. And you can even sympathize with Hide even more considering how his good nature is continually abused by actual nature.
