With all the teases and promotions lately, there’s been a lot of speculation about what the future holds for Tiger & Bunny. Particularly after the big ad taken out on the Shibuya 109 recently that cost in the $150,000+ range to pull off considering the series was off the air and there wasn’t much else going on otherwise. Well, it’s been largely explained today as during various events in Japan, not one but two new theatrical movies are due out for the franchise in 2012. Details aren’t really available at the moment as to what they’re going to be about but they’re using the tagline of “Heroes Return” so we’ll definitely be seeing our favorite leads and the others are given nods as well, courtesy of a slew of images you can check out below that come from Dengeki Online.
