Crunchyroll Adds ‘Ajin’ Manga Simulpub Series

Ajin Volume 1Crunchyroll continues to beef up its simulpub manga lineup and the latest one on their list is Ajin, which comes from Tsuina Miura and Gamon Sakurai that began in 2012 and has three published volumes to its name that’s currently being serialized in good! Afternoon magazine. Crunchyroll is starting off with the first two chapters and will be adding more as time goes on until they can get caught up to the new chapters, where it will switch to simultaneous publication status.

The chapters will be available to All-Access and Manga members worldwide except for the following countries: Algeria, Lebanon, Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Morocco, Switzerland, and Japan.

Vertical Inc acquired the physical media license for this series earlier this year with a fall 2014 planned release date for the first volume.

Plot Concept: Ajin are humans that cannot die. Seventeen years ago, they first appeared on a battlefield in Africa. From then on, more of their kind are discovered within the human society. Their rarity in appearance means that, for experimental purposes, the government will generously reward anyone who captures one.
