‘The Maze Runner’ Debuts First Poster

2 min read

Maze RunnerWith a planned September 19th, 2014 release date, 20th Century Fox has released the first theatrical poster for The Maze Runner. The feature adapts the novel of the same name by James Dashner, which has a sequel as well, and is being directed by Wes Ball based on a script by Noah Oppenheim. The feature, whose budget is unlisted at this stage, has a largely unknown cast to it with the main draw being the lead of Dylan O’Brien, who has gained a good bit of fans through his work as one of the core characters on Teen Wolf. The film is an interesting young adult novel adaptation in that the majority of them that have come out have focused on female leads whereas this one goes for a male lead and largely ensemble as well. It was originally scheduled for a February 204 release but was pushed back late last fall while in the post-production phase.
