One of the hardest things to do is to promote a service that requires a user to actually create an account and log into it. Once they do that, you at least have them for a bit, but getting that first part down is hard. FUNimation has had some creative promotional videos recently for some of their varied aspects of the business, but this latest 52 second spot is definitely a hard one to rally behind as it shows you how in, less than 60 seconds, to sign up for a 14-day free trial to become an Elite Video Subscriber. The tag for it is definitely fun and fits in nicely with a big part of their history, but the actual promo itself just doesn’t click well.
