Toonami is looking to start 2014 off right for anime fans by bringing in Naruto: Shippuden to premiere during the month. With them already having a whole lot of attention to crow about with Space Dandy debuting there, dubbed and at the same time as Japan, adding this onto it is definitely going to draw a lot more attention. What Toonami is doing is bringing to a close Naruto the original series on November 30th and recommending people check out the rest of the episodes online through the many legal places to see it. But they’re doing this to make way for Naruto: Shippuden to debut in January, uncut, and coming on the same night that Space Dandy will debut. That date is still being worked out so we’ll likely be seeing that a lot closer to the actual broadcast knowing how Toonami does things.

Series concept: Naruto Uzumaki wants to be the best ninja in the land. He’s done well so far, but with the looming danger posed by the mysterious Akatsuki organization, Naruto knows he must train harder than ever and leaves his village for intense exercises that will push him to his limits.
