With FUNimation set to release the second season in February after their simulcast run of the show, the company has decided to bring out the first season again but give it the Blu-ray upgrade it deserves. Sengoku Basara’s first season has seen release before but this combo edition is just what the doctor ordered in order to have the two season sets match up perfectly. And it’s even one of the new releases that has the Blu-ray disc in a DVD sized card so that it’s the best of both worlds for the fans. Since we really liked the first season a lot, we’re going to give away a copy of it this month and we’re going to make it an easy little raffle contest which you can access below.
