‘Dusk Maiden Of Amnesia’ Anime Cast Revealed

2 min read

Another spring 2012 anime series has had its voice cast revealed courtesy of the latest issue of Gangan Joker. The magazine has brought to light that 15 year old Konomi Suzuki will be singing the opening song, hot off her win last year with the All-Japan Anison Grand Prix contest. The series is based on the manga Tasogare Otome x Amnesia by Maybe that began in 2009 in Gangan Joker and has five compiled volumes to date. The anime, directed by Shin Onuma, is being animated by Silver Link for the spring season with the script by Katsuhiko Takayama.

Plot concept: The story revolves around a first-year high school student, Niiya Teiichi who had just enrolled at Seikyou Private Academy. When he gets lost in one of the school’s old building, he meets a girl named Yuuko who reveals herself as a ghost with no memories. Niiya then decides to investigate her death by looking through the school’s seven mysteries revolving around her. Throughout the story, Niiya and Yuuko discover the truth about these ghost stories and help those who are troubled.

Within the show itself, the cast is pretty solid and even one of the cast members, Yumi Hara, comes from the drama CD produced for the series:

Tsubasa Yonaga –  Teiichi Niiya

Yumi Hara – Yuko Kanoe

Misato Fukuen – Momoe Okonogi

Eri Kitamura – Kirie Kanoe
