Known originally as Ura-san Chi no Lost Time, a new manga series has launched with The Ura Family’s Lost Time. The property comes from creator Taro which has debuted in the 10/2024 marked installment of Good! Afternoon magazine.

I believe this is the first property from the creator.

Good! Afternoon is a Japanese seinen manga magazine anthology published by Kodansha. Initially published bimonthly, it switched to a monthly publication schedule starting with the 25th issue in late 2012. Each issue typically has around twenty-five stories by various artists and runs about 800 pages.

Plot Concept: This comedy/drama series is about an eccentric old man who lost his adult daughter in a car accident. His clumsy, feisty granddaughter starts living with him and in sometimes touching, sometimes funny moments, both start to bond while dealing with the loss of their daughter/mother.
