8th ‘Ishura’ Anime Episode Previewed

Kadokawa has revealed an anime adaptation with the light novel series Ishura getting the nod. The novels, which are released in English through Yen Press, comes from writer Keiso and artist Kureta which began in 2017 online. It has seven volumes out as of February 2023 and a manga adaptation that began in 2021 which has two volumes out from Meguri.

With Disney+ handling distribution of the show worldwide and Hulu being its home for US viewers, the series saw a January 3rd, 2024 premiere date with Hulu handling the simulcast right alongside that, roughly. Now, the Japanese production is updating with the first preview of the eighth episode due out on February 21st, 2024.

In “Nihiro and the World Word of Kia” Yellow Capital Twenty-Nine receives a report that the intelligence unit that infiltrated the new Duchy of Lithia has been wiped out. Hidou, a government official, releases Nihiro, the worst person who ever threatened the Yellow Capital, and tries to use him for his purposes. Also one of the 29 officials, Elea of ​​the Red Paper Note, had infiltrated an elf village far away from Yellow City. Impersonating her teacher, she finally discovers the existence of her purpose.

The series features the opening song is “Shura ni Otoshite” performed by sajou no hana while Konomi Suzuki will perform the ending theme song “Hakka.”
