With the usual delay between the period and the reporting in place, Nielsen has updated to reveal the most-streamed shows in the US through the week ending January 21st, 2024. Netflix continues to dominate but this week holds onto eight slots this time – though a few are shared slots.
This week sees seven titles crossing the 1 billion minute mark which I don’t think we’ve seen in some time if all before with Bluey leading the way at 1.5 billion minutes for Disney+. Prime Video gets the second place slot as Reacher moved along with 1.2 billion minutes while Max and Netflix shared a spot for Young Sheldon once again with it hitting 1.1 billion minutes.
Hulu shares some chart space with Netflix as This is Us gets some renewed attention while Paramount+ and Peacock do the same respectively for NCIS and Suits.
