It’s been a year since we did our last comedy challenge and we had a lot of suggestions from then for this sequel version of it. The month is going to cover a lot of different comedians, and actors who work in comedy, as well as a lot of other odds and ends so expect it to change here and there throughout.
Starting off the year, we want to dig into one of the more interesting aspects of films where we get a badly timed joke. This is the moment where a joke that’s utilized in a way that ruins the scene or takes the emotional energy out of it when it shouldn’t.
And conversely, when has it be used well to deflate tension?
