The fall 2020 anime component of the Hypnosis Mic multimedia project is localized as Hypnonsis Mic -Division Rap Battle- Rhyme Anima. The project in its second season is getting its Japanese home video releases handled through Aniplex Japan and they’ve set their plans for it. The twelve-episode series is getting a six-volume release that begins on December 23rd, 2023. All volumes are limited editions with the DVD side priced at 5,800 yen for the first volume while the remainder are priced at 6,800 yen. The Blu-rays are laid out similarly at 6,800 yen and 7,800 yen respectively.

Katsumo Ono is directing the series based on the scripts by Shin Yoshida. Minako Shiba is handling the character designs with A-1 Pictures working on the animation production.

Plot Concept: Follow Buster Bros!!!, Mad Trigger Crew, Fling Posse, and Matten Wolf, four rap divisions led by former members of the legendary crew, The Dirty Dawg, as they struggle over each other’s turf through rap battles.
