We learned in April 2022 about another manga property that is making its way to the realm of TV anime with an adaptation of The Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls U149 manga. With the series previously making an April 5th, 2023 debut, the folks at Happinet have set the home video release for it. The series is getting done as four Blu-ray sets that begin on July 26th, 2023 and will be priced at 12,000 yen each.
With the third volume coming up in a few days we now have a look at the main cover artwork for it while waiting on the full packaging spread. Check out the full schedule and known details below.
The show has Manabu Okamoto directing it with Hiroyuki Takashima. Oki Murayama is handling the scripting side while Norie Igawa is working on the character designs. Cygames Pictures is on board for the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes Amina Satō as Arisu Tachibana, Haruka Terui as Momoka Sakurai, Tomoyo Kurosawa as Miria Akagi, Hana Tamegai as Risa Matoba, Makoto Koichi as Haru Yūki, Asaka Imai as Chie Sasaki, Natsumi Haruse as Kaoru Ryuzaki, Misaki Kuno as Nina Ichihara, and Yūki Yonai as Producer.
The manga comes from writer/artist Kyouno which began in 2016 as serialized in Cycomics.

Plot Concept: The story introduces us to girls under 149 centimeters tall (under about 4 feet, 11 inches) who aspire to be idols despite not having a producer or gigs. However, maybe with a marvelous dress, a marvelous stage, and a marvelous prince … The new Cinderella story follows these small idols and their small rookie producer.
