A new anime adaptation is underway as the light novel series Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon has gotten the nod. The show got its simulcast pickup practically at the same time as Crunchyroll is handling the show in multiple regions and has some dubs set for it as well.
Now, the folks at Crunchyroll are getting some clips moving out there for it with this one from the fourth episode where we see some Vending machine secrets 👀
The series has Noriaki Akitaya directing it from the scripts overseen by Tatsuya Takahashi. Takahiro Sakai is handling the character designs while Studio Gokumi and AXsiZ is handling the animation production for it.
The Japanese cast includes Jun Fukuyama as Hakkon, Kaede Hondo as Lammis, Shiki Aoki as Hyūrumi, Miyu Tomita as Shui, Kazuya Nakai as Kerioiru, Ai Kayano as Firumina, Atsushi Miyauchi as Director Bear, Daiki Yamashita as Aka, Junya Enoki as Shiro, and Takuya Eguchi as Michelle.
BRADIO will be performing the opening theme song for it with “Fanfare” as the title.
The light novels, known originally as Jidōhanbaiki ni Umarekawatta Ore wa Meikyū ni Samayō, began in 2016 and ran for three volumes before wrapping up in 2017. A manga adaptation by Kunieda is currently being released by Yen Press who also released the light novels in English.

Plot Concept: After dying in a traffic accident, I find myself standing near an unfamiliar lake. My body won’t move, I can’t hear my voice, and when I try to shout in confusion, words that I never expected come out! I-it seems I’ve turned into a vending machine… How am I going to survive some fantasy world’s dungeon like this?!
