The fall 2019 anime adaptation of the novel series from Mado Nozaki called Babylon debuted on Tokyo MX on October 7th, 2019 while also getting streaming through Amazon Prime in Japan and abroad. The show is now getting some new distribution as HIDIVE has now set plans for streaming for the show. It’s now scheduled to debut on March 6th, 2023 where all twelve episodes will go live at 11:30 AM ET on the service. It’ll be available with both the subtitled version and the English dub.

Kiyotaka Suzuki is directing it with Keisuke Goto on board as the character designer. Revoroot is still on board for animation production. The show is now set for an October 2019 debut with Amazon Prime Video streaming worldwide.
The Japanese cast includes Yuichi Nakamura as Zen Seizaki, Takahiro Sakurai as Shinobu Kujiin, Kensho Ono as Atsuhiko Fumio, M.A.O as Hiasa Sekuro, and Kenyu Horiuchi as Yasutaka Morinaga.
The novel series kicked off in 2015 and has three volumes out so far. Mado Nozaki isn’t a well-known name from the light novel side but he’s been involved in a few projects including the script for the KADO series.

Plot Concept: Zen Seizaki, dedicated prosecutor with the Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office, is assigned a seemly cut-and-dry case of false advertisement on part of a pharmaceutical company. But what starts as a routine investigation soon turns into something much darker, the strange details of the case painting a portrait of corruption and deceit that permeates the mayoral election being run in the newly formed Shiniki District. Soon Seizaki discovers depravity that puts at risk the very fabric of the Japanese justice system — not to mention Seizaki’s own sense of right and wrong.
