The original Pop Team Epic anime series saw distribution across a number of services with the simulcast but the English dub was something that was released to the Funimation site. Now, as the merger of services continues, that English dub has found its way to Crunchyroll so viewers can choose which language that they wan to watch it with.
The English dub for the first season saw Cris George directing the series and working with Emily Neves on the scripts. The English cast includes:
- Christopher R. Sabat and Justin Briner as Popuko
- Ian Sinclair and Colleen Clinkenbeard as Pipimi
- Clifford Chapin as Daichi
- Bryn Apprill as Sosogu
The show was animated by Kamikaze Douga with King Records producing it. The original work is a webmanga that began in 2014 as a four-panel project. The first series ended in late 2015 and a second kicked off in early 2016.
