The summer 2020 anime adaptation of Take’s manga series Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out! is getting its home video releases handled by Kadokawa for the second season that’s out in fall 2022. They’ve set a shortened schedule for the twelve-episode series with a three-volume release planned that begins on February 22nd, 2023. The show will have regular edition DVDs priced at 11,000 yen while the regular edition Blu-rays will be priced at 13,000 yen. Limited edition Blu-ray releases are priced at 31,000 yen. The series has Kazuya Miura directing it based on the scripts overseen by Takashi Aoshima. Manabu Kurihara is handling the character designs with ENGI handling the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes Naomi Ōzora as Hana Uzaki, Kenji Akabane as Shinichi Sakurai, Ayana Taketatsu as Ami Asai, Tomoya Takagi as Itsuhito Sakaki, Yosuke Akimoto as Master, and Saori Hayami as Tsuki Uzaki.
The series features “Nadamesukashi Negotiation” by Kano and Naomi Ōzora as the opening theme song.
The property by Take is serialized in Dragon Age magazine and began in 2017 and it has four volumes out so far in Japan.
