Content: (please note that content portions of a review may contain spoilers)
The series draws to a close with this episode as we get things with the elections wrapped up previously. Here, we get a bunch of the guys heading to class together and talking about how pleasant it is – a rarity for some of them – and a little clean-up of past events. But also a little discussion about how not-normal this world is, even if they’ve all gotten quite used to it at this point, even the most recent arrivals. With everyone at the school waiting for them, and obviously lots of girls getting the attention here, it’s a fun bit that lets everyone get a little screentime and silliness as it all crowds together. It is, as Kunisaki says, a lot of stupid fun.
In Summary:
And that kind of sums up the show for me. The series is one that didn’t do a lot for me in terms of the cast because I’ve forgotten so much of who so many of them are over the years. But even without that context it still delivered some cute chibi-style fun and ran with it in an amusing way. That helps a lot to make it work and it brings it to a close here with a very cute bit that ties to another Key show that hasn’t been involved here which does make me smile as it binds together a couple of things in a really fun if bittersweet way.
