With a pair of TV anime releases behind it, the Tsukiuta multimedia project is moving to the next stage by revealing an anime feature film. It’ll go by the name Rabbits Kingdom the Movie as it’s a ten-year anniversary project which will be the Year of the Rabbit. The film will adapt the fifth stage production.
Yukio Nishimoto directed the second TV series based on the scripts from Natsuko Takahashi. Michinori Chiba and Ai Yokoyama are working on the character designs that Jiku originally created while Children’s Playground Entertainment will handle the animation production.
Check out our review of the first season of the series.
The first season was directed by Itsuro Kawasaki, it’s working with scripts by Sayaka Harada and character designs by Yukiko Ban. Animation was produced by Studio Pierrot. The property is an interesting one that certainly plays to various aspects of Japanese culture as well as the way anything can be made human as it’s about human representations of the months of the year combined with music and attractive characters. The cast is made up of those that have participated in the CDs.
The Japanese cast includes Six Gravity members Yuuki Kaji, Kousuke Toriumi, Toshiki Masuda, Tomoaki Maeno, Yoshimasa Hosoya, KENN. Procellarum will be made up of Shouta Aoi, Wataru Hatano, Tetsuya Kakihara, Takashi Kondo, Kensho Ono, and Ryohei Kimura. The student goddesses will comprise Hisako Kanemoto, Asami Imai, Mako, Rumi Ookubo, Ai Nonaka and Yumi Uchiyama.

Plot concept: Tsukiuta has two versions — a male version and a female version.
