Flex Comics revealed in July 2021 that Kaijin Kaihatsubu no Kuroitsu-san will be getting one in the near future. The property, which translates as Kuroitsu-san in the Superhuman Research & Development Department, is moving right along after a recent delay due to the Tonga event and now some new casting information has surfaced. Three more characters have been revealed with the casting of Miyu Tomita as Melty, Shigeru Chiba as the Red-Caped General, and Hidekatsu Shibata as Great Leader Kaiser Lore.
The series is directed by Hisashi Saito based on the series scripts by Katsuhiko Takayama. Kazuya Morimae is handling the character designs with Quad handling the animation production.

Maybe Me will be handling the ending theme songs for the series with “Aimai Identity” and “Destiny” as the song titles.
The original manga series from Hiroaki Mizusaki began in 2019 and has two volumes out as of July 2021.

Plot Concept: The manga centers on the Kuroitsu, an assistant researcher in the superhuman research & development department of Agastya, a villainous secret organization that battles with heroes who try to save the world. Kuroitsu lives a busy life in Agastya, caught between the absurd requests of her bosses; making presentations; implementing new features into superhumans; and getting results within the allotted time, budget, and spec requests; all without vacation.
