Top 20 Blu-ray Releases Week Ending January 15th, 2022

While a whole lot of us are very much deep into the world of streaming and many have moved past physical media overall, there’s still definitely a market there for it – and should be if you want to actually own a copy of something that doesn’t require being online to watch it. Even more so if you have data caps in your area!

The folks at Media Play have updated with the stats and changes for the week ending January 15th, 2022. This week has a few new titles debuting and they claim some top spots. The arrival of the first part of Dune shoots right to the top of the chart for Warner Bros. while Universal grabs the second spot with Halloween Kills. Also new this week is the Spencer film which debuts at the eleventh-place slot. A lot of the chart moves around fairly simply here with a couple of things pushed back two slots by the new arrivals, though Jungle Cruise goes from tenth to sixth as there’s definitely some continued interest in that title.

The rest of the chart are familiar titles for the most part with some things outside the top twenty sliding in as various holiday sales take place and other collections move around.
