A new anime project is in our future with the Tribe Nine game from Akatsuki and Too Kyo Games is coming. The property is working multiple angles with a smartphone RPG, a webtoon, and the anime itself. Funimation previously revealed their pickup of the series with plans for it to debut as part of their winter season. That’s now getting a little bit clearer as the Japanese side has revealed a January 10th, 2022 debut on TOKYO MX with it rolling out to other broadcasters over the next day or two.
The project has Yu Aoki directing it based on the scripts supervised by Michiko Yokote. Yosuke Yabumoto is adapting the original character designs and LIDEN FILMS is handling the animation production.
