Funimation Reveals ‘The Vampire Dies in No Time’ Anime Dub Cast, Staff, Premiere, & Preview Video

A vampire living with a vampire hunter? What could possibly go wrong? šŸ§›ā€ā™‚ļø

A new anime project was announced back in May 2020 as being in the works for The Vampire Dies in No Time, which is known asĀ Kyuketsuki wa Sugu Shinu in its original form. With the series making its October 4th, 2021 premiere, Funimation has now revealed their simuldub plans for the show. With new episodes arriving weekly, the first one will debut on November 22nd, 2021. Jad Saxton is the ADR director for it working from the scripts by Emily Neves. The English cast includes:

  • Ian Sinclair as Ronaldo
  • Frank Todaro as Draluc
  • Ellie Dritch as John
  • Austin Sisk as Kameya
  • Kyle Igneczi as Rokuon
  • Justin Duncan as Bubuo
  • Hope Endrenyi as Eri
  • Bryce Papenbrook as Gamer Boy
  • Jack Reeder as Manager

Funimation is bringing the simulcast out through their respective services in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand as it airs in Japan, as well as Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Peru, and Brazil.

The series is directed by Hiroshi Koujina based on the series composition by Yuki Sugawara. Mayuko Nakano is handling the character designs for it and Madhouse is on board for the production.

The cast includes Jun Fukuyama is playing Dralc while Makoto Furukawa is playing Ronaldo. Additional casting includes Mutsumi Tamura as John, Natsumi Hioka as Hiniachi, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as TŠ¾Ģ„ Handa, Yoshimasa Hosoya as Satetsu, Atsushi Tamaru as Shot, Shunichi Toki as Fukuma, Daisuke Ono as Hiyoshi, Takayuki Kondō as Kameya, Yōko Hikasa as Maria, Kaori Ishihara has joined as Ta Chan, Takehito Koyasu as Yomotsuzaga, Kōtarō Nishiyama as Sagyō, and Seiichirō Yamashita as Kantarō Kei.

The official site has confirmed that TRD will be handling the ending theme song for the show with “Strangers.” The group is made up of voice actors Takayuki Kondō and Daisuke Ono.

The series from Itaru Bonnoki began in Weekly Shonen Champion in June 2015 and has sixteen volumes out as of November 2020.

Plot Concept: After a vampire hunter learned of a mansion inhabited by a vampire rumored to have kidnapped a kid, he went there intending to take the monster down. However, the vampire turned out to be a wimp who keeps turning into ash at the smallest things… And that kid wasn’t being held captive, he was just using the “haunted house” as his personal playground!
