Originally serialized in Comic Kairakuten from the August 2021 installment, Lust: ~Kouzai Mitsuki~ is a sixteen-page story from creator Nishizawa Mizuki, who has just over two dozen other works on the service. This was my first experience with their stuff, as I went through the office lady tags looking for something with adults in it, and even though it’s in the middle of a series it’s one that looked standalone enough to just jump into as the preview page caught my eye. The premise of the run is for a young company president to find a wife for himself, but that means having a little fun along the way. And with really good artwork and a shorter run of pages, it’s a tight and fast fix of hentai.
With this installment, the fallout from Miho jumping the schedule has caused the whole thing to fall apart a bit. Now, the decision has been made to change it out daily because it’s clear that people can’t wait. And that has Kouzai surprised that she’s suddenly up next as originally she was a good few days away from getting her shot. When she does get alone with Kounosuke, she makes it clear that he understands that she wasn’t against this happening, but just surprised at the quickness of it. Kounosuke’s really surprised by her because she’s not, well, she’s not shy but she’s a bit more demure and withdrawn. So when they end up starting, he finds himself kind of the “bigger person” in all of this and that creates feelings of wanting to protect her. Her body even gives in to him quickly, making him feel like he’s connected with and understands her even more.
This isn’t a bad thing but it’s also just the start of the sequence, as she starts pulling out some toys for men for her to use and giving him a good working over. She’s in control of the situation to be sure from this point out and he’s along for the ride, loving every minute of it even though he’s unsure of what’s coming from her. The back and forth between the two is great and the kind of slightly shy/demure aspect to her, combined with the restrained beauty of the character design, creates this really fabulous look and feel from Kouzai. The sequence between the two really does deliver in a way that doesn’t feel like the others, which is saying a lot as I thoroughly loved the Miho piece, but there’s something about Kouzai in her totality that is just fascinating.
In Summary
I really am having a lot of fun with this series of stories and this installment delivers our fourth candidate for Kounosuke to deal with. The first two were interesting but didn’t hit my own interests too much but Miho really got me into the story and now Kouzai really delivers something even more intense. I’m really excited to see how the fifth and final installment goes.
