Sōichirō Yamamoto has another of their works coming up into the world of anime with In the Heart of Kunoichi Tsubaki. With the strength of the Teasing Master Takagi-san out there, this new work is coming from Aniplex with CloverWorks handling the production.
Takuhiro Kadochi is directing it based on the scripts overseen by Konomi Shugo. Yousuke Okuda is handling the character designs for it.
Yuko Natsuyoshi will play Tsubaki.
The manga, known as Kunoichi Tsubaki no Mune no Uchi, began in 2018 and has six volumes out as of the announcement month with over ten million copies in circulation.

Plot Concept: The “no-boys-allowed kunoichi (female ninja) comedy manga” centers on the titular Tsubaki Kunoichi, the best student in her school. She lives in a village of women with the rule that they cannot have contact with men. However, she has a curiosity about men that she cannot reveal.
