The spring and summer 2018 anime series Persona 5 the Animation has been available on Hulu for some time but the show page for it has now been updated to reveal that it’s expiring soon. Generally, there’s a fourteen-day window when this happens while for the first day or so it just says that it’s expiring soon, as it does right now. That originally came up in mid-September but the show did not expire at the end of the month. That warning is there again now and it’ll likely hit this time, so be sure to check it out if you’re still watching as it could actually go away this time.

Masashi Ishihama directed it based on the series composition by Shinichi Inotsume. Tomomi Ishikawa worked on the character designs and A-1 Pictures produced the animation.

The Japanese cast includes Rina Satou as Makoto Niijima, Aoi Yuuki as Futaba Sakura, Haruka Tomatsu as Haru Okumura, Mamoru Miyano as Ryuji Sakamoto, Nana Mizuki as Anne Tamamaki, Ikue Otani s Morgana, and Tomokazu Sugita as Yusuki Kitagawa.

The English cast includes Xander Mobus as Ren Amamiya, Max Mittelman as Ryuji Sakamoto, Erika Harlacher as Ann Takamaki, Cassandra Lee Morris as Morgana, Matt Mercer as Yusuke Kitagawa, Cherami Leigh as Makoto Niijima, Erica Lindbeck as Futaba Sakura, Xanthe Huynh as Haru Okumura, and Robbie Daymond as Goro Akechi.

Property Concept: Ren Amamiya is about to enter his second year of high school after transferring to Shujin Academy in Tokyo. A strange incident triggers the awakening of his Persona, and alongside his friends, he forms the “Phantom Thieves of Hearts” to change the hearts of corrupt adults by stealing the source of their distorted desires. Meanwhile, cases of psychotic breakdowns have been popping up one after another… Living their ordinary high school lives in Tokyo during the day, the group stalks the bustling metropolis of Tokyo as the Phantom Thieves by night.

It’s time for the curtains to rise on this grand, picaresque story!
