The fall 2021 anime series Tesla Note is getting its home video releases handled by Bandai Namco Arts and they’ve opted to go for the box set route for the property. The thirteen-episode series will be released as a single set on March 29th, 2022 priced at 30,000 yen. The set will include the thirteen bonus shorts with the training course as well as the promos and commercials for the main series. It’ll include a 56-page pack-in booklet as well.

The anime adaptation has Michio Fukuda directing it based on the scripts that Masafumi Nishida is overseeing and writing. POKImari is handling the original character designs while the series is being animated at Gambit.

The Japanese cast includes Konomi Kohara as Botan Negoro, Tatsuhisa Suzuki as Kuruma, Tomoaki Maeno as Ryūnosuke Takamatsu, Junichi Suwabe as Mickey Miller, Hiroshi Kamiya as Oliver Thornton, Kazuya Nakai as Kyohei Himi, Mugihito as Jingo Negoro, Hidenobu Kiuchi as Kensuke Toriumi, Shizuka Itou as Lily Steiner, Akira Ishida as Pino, and Takaya Kuroda as Elmo.

For this series, the opening theme is performed by TOKYO MONSTERS with the song “PUPPET’S” while Yui Ninomiya is performing the ending theme song “Sanbunteki Life.”

The original manga comes from Masafumi Nishida, Tadayoshi Kubo, and Kōta Sannomiya with the first two coming up with the idea and Sannomiya illustrating it. Nishida’s got a lot of credits to his name, including the scripts for the Tiger & Bunny series and movies.

Plot Concept: The spy action manga centers around “Mission T,” a shadow war of spies and secret intelligence waged to prevent the world’s destruction. The story centers on Botan Negoro, who has trained as a ninja since childhood, and has grown to become a talented spy. She teams up with Kuruma, a spy who has a flair for theatrics, in a new mission with the world at stake: to retrieve the “Tesla Crystal,” the “legacy” of genius Serbian-American inventor Nikola Tesla. But other countries and their agents are already moving to secure the Tesla Crystal, and Botan and Kuruma will have to use all their wit to outsmart them.
