Top 20 Blu-ray Releases Week Ending September 18th, 2021

While a whole lot of us are very much deep into the world of streaming and many have moved past physical media overall, there’s still definitely a market there for it – and should be if you want to actually own a copy of something that doesn’t require being online to watch it. Even more so if you have data caps in your area!

The folks at Media Play have updated with the stats and changes for the week ending September 18th, 2021. This week sees three titles enter the chart and a title from the distant past that resurfaced with some renewed interest. It’s no surprise that the arrival of Black Widow takes the top spot and it really does dominate when you look at the index positioning. The other new film out is the Boss Baby sequel which comes in at third place while Vertical debuts Out of Death in the nineteenth position. Zack Snyder’s Justice League has a good hold from last week coming in second while Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard moves down just two because of the two new releases outperforming as expected.

Most everything else from the previous week kind of slides down one or two with a few twists and changes in the mix, but we’re mostly seeing Warner Bros. at the top of the chart and a lot of variety through it overall.
