The Love of Kill manga from Fe was acquired by Yen Press at the end of October 2020 and has its first volume coming out in March 2021. Back in December of 2021, the timing was fortuitous as an anime adaptation was announced and we later learned that Hideaki Oba will be directing it based on the scripts and composition by Ayumu Hisao. Yoko Sato is on board for the character designs and platinumvision is on board for animation production.

Now, the official site has updated to reveal a new 60-second promotional video that shows off the style of the show as well as revealing its leads with Saori Ōnishi as Cheateau Dankworth and Hiro Shimono as Son Ryang-ha.

The series from Fe began in 2015 as serialized in Monthly Comic Gene and it has nine volumes out as of summer 2020.

Check out the official site and Twitter.

Plot Concept: Two assassins face off at a certain “workplace.”

The cool bounty hunter Chateau and the mysterious and powerful Ryang-Ha. Chateau and Ryang-Ha become enemies after this fight—at least, they should have, but for some reason Ryang-Ha takes a liking to Chateau and begins following her around.

Little by little, Chateau develops a cooperative partnership with Ryang-Ha, which gets her caught up in the struggle against the organizations hunting him down. Furthermore, that battle is related to her past as well.

Why did Ryang-Ha approach Chateau? What is Chateau’s secret past? Two mismatched assassins weave together a twisted “Assassin X Assassin” thriller. The strange gears of fate begin to move.
