The anime adaptation of the manga That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime from Fuse and Mitz Vah got underway in Japan with its October 1st, 2018 premiere and we’ve seen some home video and digital releases since then. Funimation’s also set up a new edition that will be a Best Buy Exclusive with the complete first season set for a steelbook release there on November 23rd, 2021. The set will be a four-disc bilingual run that uses the same discs as prior editions. Check out the newly revealed packaging below!
The first season of the show has Clifford Chapin directing working from the scripts by Kristen McGuire. The English cast includes Mallorie Rodak as Great Sage, Kristi Rothrock as Miho, E. Jason Liebrecht as Mikami, Brittney Karbowski as Rimuru, Dawn M. Bennett as Shizue, Jordan Dash Cruz as Tamura, and Chris Rager as Veldora.

The manga, which has just under 5 million copies in print in Japan, began in 2013 and a manga adaptation launched in 2015, both of which are being brought out by Yen Press and Kodansha Comics respectively.
