It may not seem like it to some degree, but every year of comics publishing for some time has been a wild ride, whether in the comics themselves, the behind-the-scenes jostling of the business, or the actual publication/distribution itself. In 2021, publishing is far more regular after the chaos of 2020 with the pandemic, lots of new series continue to launch, ongoing books roll on, and there are a lot of really strong choices to pull from when picking out what to buy.
