With Yen Press having picked up the light novel series for this recently, it’s a good time to be a fan of The World’s Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in a Different World as an Aristocrat. Known as Sekai Saikō no Ansatsusha, Isekai Kizoku ni Tensei Suru in Japan, the light novel series began in 2018 and moved to print releases beginning in 2019.
The series was announced in early February 2021 and was scheduled for a July 2021 premiere at the time. Now, the official site has updated to reveal that it’s being rescheduled to a fall 2021 debut in October. To help ease the pain of those that are disappointed by this, the production rolled out a new promotional video for it that you can see below.
The anime adaptation has Masafumi Tamura as the director working from the scripts written and overseen by Katsujik Takayama. Eri Nagata is handling the character designs with Studio Palette and Silver Link working on the animation production.
The Japanese cast includes:
- Kenji Akabane as Lugh
- Reina Ueda as Dia
- Yūki Takada as Tarte
- Shino Shimoji as Maha
