Top 20 Adult Graphic Novels For December 2020

With the month of November having wrapped up, the folks at ICv2 have pulled together the data to build a top twenty list of what moved during the month when it came to non-kids graphic novels. The month tends to be filled pretty heavily with manga and that is the case here once again. Viz Media consumes copious spaces with first-volumes of ongoing properties like My Hero Academia and Tokyo Ghoul among others but this month manages to shift things up a bit.

This month saw sixteen of the twenty slots overall go to manga and fourteen of those are from Viz Media. Yen Press again got a slot for Toilet-Bound Hanako-Kun while Kodansha Comics got to bring back the first volume of Attack on Titan, which seems to boost up again during the holidays.

Once past the manga, you don’t get anything from the main superhero side of things but the general graphic novel side has Strange Planet holding strong as well as Stranger Planet. The Dune graphic novel that debuted the month before is still doing well and Harper Collins has Sapiens charting once more.
